Enrichment Programs

All programs meet virtually 1x/week for 8 weeks

At GGP we keep our cohorts very small and personalized - exact meeting times are TBD according to registered student schedules.

Just Like Saturday Night Live: Empowerment Through Comedy Writing

Humor does more than just make people laugh. It allows you to connect with your audience, diffuse tension, elevate status, foster trust, and compel others to your point of view (including tired Admission Officers who read hundreds of essays every day!)

In this program, students will learn the basics of how to write sketch comedy and explore the power of comedic performance with a professional comedian and writer who currently performs background on the famous U.S. sketch show, Saturday Night Live.

Women in Action

The Women-in-Action program gives students the tools to make feminism practical and actionable in their everyday lives.

Students make their perspectives and voices heard in small group discussions on current topics in women’s rights/gender equity, receive 1:1 mentoring to develop and publish original writing on these issues, and attend a custom speaker series, developing a supportive network of women professionals who will help position students for future success in college and beyond.

Broadway Workshop with Tess Primack

This program is a rare opportunity for students to get personalized instruction from current Broadway performers in New York City (past instructors have come from the casts of Hamilton, Wicked, Fiddler on Roof & more!)

This program is designed to be fun and collaborative, not stressful! All levels are welcome, from aspiring BFA Musical Theater students to those with more limited experience who want to develop more confidence in their communication and public speaking skills. (And perhaps move that singing career out of the shower.)
